Benefits of the Clay bar, and a Ceramic coat

A clay bar is exactly what it sounds like. It's a clay bar that you run across your lubricated paint that removes contaminants that get stuck in your clear coat. This can include dirt, tar, bugs, etc. During a regular wash these contaminants may not come out that's why the clay bar is essential. The clay bar treatment is also used to prep the paint before applying a ceramic coat. 

A ceramic coat is a sealant that bonds with your clear coat. It has several benefits including protecting your clear coat from fading due to the sun, seals your clear coat so contaminants can't get in and damage your clear coat, and it has a hydro beading technology so water and dirt roll off your car keeping your car cleaner longer.
